In 1952 Cowboy Maloney’s was born, a lumber yard selling built-in appliances for new homes. We quickly evolved to a full line appliance dealer and from there became a TV dealer when the first television station came on line in Mississippi. We were founded with the realization, that as a Mississippi company, we would be held to a higher set of standards. We strive to exceed customer’s expectation. Our major goal is not to ask for business because we're the home team, but to match or beat any price in the market place plus stand behind every product that a customer stands in front of. 

 

From Cowboy, who got his nickname from his appliance corral, and Dolly Mom who ran the office to 13 year old son Con who worked in the lumber yard, Cowboy Maloney’s Electric City has grown to over 200 associates with multiple locations, more than 40 delivery trucks and our own electronic service department. We are the only major company in the Jackson market who has a service department. 

 

Having sold the first DirecTV satellite and the first Sirius Car Audio system ever sold in the U.S.A, we are indeed recognized nationally as being on the cutting edge. 

 

In August, 2009 the Maloneys again put the company on the map by opening a one of a kind, all-Viking appliance showroom in Ridgeland, MS. Aptly named, The Viking Store by Cowboy Maloney’s housed the largest and most extensive display of Viking products in the nation. The Viking Store served as the premier location for the discriminating homeowner to make appliance selections.

 

Now known as Cowboy's Kitchens, there won't be any change in service, there will only be a better experience when you enter our new and improved showroom. Don't worry - Viking appliances are present, but there will also now be Wolf, Sub Zero, Jenn Air, GE Monogram, Thermador, Bosch, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, and other appliance brands for you to touch, feel and expand your imagination as to what your dream kitchen can look like.
